Your Pitch - Get your teacher excited about your movie.

1. The Visual Narrative - you need to give us a sense of your cinematic storytelling
sensibility. Is there a genre or style that you are working at?

2. Explain what this story has to do with human experience and human behaviour.

3. List the five plot points as they apply to your 3 minutes concept. Where are the scene beats?

Consider:

• Act 1 - Establish the problem. Show the ordinary world of the protagonist, introduce the inciting incident that disrupts it, and make the stakes clear and compelling should the protagonist fail.
• In a feature length film - Act 1 - 25 minutes and in the 10th or 12th minute: the inciting incident threatens the ordinary world. The beginning of act 2 or end of act 1 there is a turn of events: And the protagonist initiates a plan, based primarily on necessity to overcome the crises.
• Act 2 - Complicate the problem. The conflict grows deeper and broader, and the initial response by the protagonist proves inadequate.
• In a feature length film Act 2 - 50 minutes. The beginning act 3 or end of act 2 there is a turn of event :The protagonist initiates Plan B, inspired by an epiphany and based on choice, to achieve true destiny.
• Act 3 - Resolve the problem. Events reach their inevitable climax and resolution.

4. Describe the main characters and their motivation - why do they make sense? This is where you talk about the script and the types of dialogue you are including.

5. Share 5 image ideas and describe the action (blocking)in each key shot. This is where you need to express your aesthetic choices and the overall visual style of the proposed project.  Thinking of montages and juxtapositions are your images in a thoughtful order? Is the camera subjective, objective, point of view? Is it moving or still?

6. Finally - Everything else - (Locations, Cinematography, Editing, Sound, Costumes, Stunts)

1. What is a LOGO?

Find a definition … at least 2 different sources would be good (ie. Dictionary, Book or Internet)

3. What are at least 5 mistakes that you should avoid when designing logos?  EXPLAIN EACH ONE … or give an example.

           drawing your logo yourself, forgetting about Ur customer, looking to much like your competitors, thinking colors and fonts don't matter, communicating to much with your logo

4. Find a logo you like from each of the following industries:

Cut and paste the logo in a Word Document.  Explain in 1 or more sentences why you choose this logo – what about the logo catches your eye.  How does this logo represent their product or service to you.  Is there anything about the logo that tells you who their consumer or target audience might be.

5. Pick 1 of your favorite logos … find them being used in at least 3 different ways, such as a Newspaper Ad, Magazine Ad, piece of clothing, napkin, coffee cup, etc.  ITEMS FOUND ON THE INTERNET WILL NOT BE COUNTED.

you can change the colour of the shape you made and add different textures

you can also make an arch and things in the shape with another tool

to make a line you select the line tool to make it bigger you go to a box above the canvas to increase size
to make a spiral bigger you use the up and down arrows
to make the grid bigger smaller or wider you use the up and down arrows then you use the left and right arrows to make it wider

added new drawing mode draw normal, draw in front and draw behind
these tools seem to be very cool and this program seems better than photoshop

things you can do with this tool r making people look up and down. 

you can also legs and body parts move to make a picture look different

the other features are the 3d tools to make his lettering 3d

he can also put a shadow under his 3d lettering 

and with the 3d lettering he can add any texture

he ca also rotate the 3d lettering with a tool in photoshop

1 3d painting lets you paint on the picture
2 pop it warp lets you move any part of the picture
3 HDR pro
4 mask content aware fill gets rid of the picture and paints the rest of the background

you press command then you click on you layer to outline the whole picture
you rotate the image according to the angle that it is at

layers help you edit things without having do it to the hole picture
like if you want to Color one thing than you put it in another later
if you look on bottom left corner you will see all of your layers

my feeling after viewing this photo are that  hurricane catrina really messed stuff up
the meaning is to show what the theme park looks like now
take pictures of other stuff that has been wreaked
it shows the mood by making it very dark

that the reflection looks cool
the implied reason of the photo is to show reflections
the reflection of trees on the windows
cause if it was cut in half it wont show the hole thing

four types of cameras

There are four different types of cameras, there is the digital point and shoot. This is a camera that is found in most house holds, these r not used for fancy pctures these are just for capturing moments

Also there is a traditional film camera, this camera is made so you can do whatever you want like manualy chooseing ur lighting.

There is also a digital single lens reflex. This is the same as a film camera but with fully digital. This is used to make hd pictures and videos to make them more clear

Large format cameras are used to make films and can also be used to make photographs

lights and optics

lights and optics can make the picture look better. the light can help you see what u r looking at and can make pictures look more interesting than when u r looking at it. if you have top much light than it makes it hard to see what you r taking a picture of. and if it is to dark than it also can be hard to see what you r looking at.
